What to do in Villa Traful?

From taking a walk along the lakeside promenade; exploring the small center and its local shops offering regional items in a beautiful stroll, to fantastic excursions to the submerged forest during summer, and snowshoeing outings in winter, the range of activities is varied, always depending on the weather conditions:

Trekking: There are several trails of low and medium difficulty, among which we can highlight the circuits leading to waterfall jumps immersed in virgin forests, offering a unique environment. (Always register for trekking on the Park's website.)
Villa Traful has numerous trails and trekking spots of great value, although they are not widely known yet. This year, France is investing 150,000 euros to strengthen hiking, improve all paths, and add new routes and connections.

Horseback Riding: An ideal activity to connect with and immerse yourself in nature. Exploring beautiful trails and corners of pure native forest provides a unique and relaxing experience.

Kayak Rental: Kayaks can be rented in the town center, offering a delightful family activity.

Submerged Forest Tours: One of the main tourist activities in the area, available throughout the year. Witnessing the submerged forest surrounded by snow is an unparalleled experience.

SUP Expeditions: To explore other sections of the lake and admire incredible landscapes both in and out of the water, while learning about this new sport in the village.

Gastronomy: You can explore the various restaurants and discover their typical gastronomic offerings such as trout and deer. You can also enjoy a beautiful view while having a hot chocolate and something delicious at one of the tea houses, or visit the famous local alfajor factory.
